Donate to Mardi Gras Adopt-A-Cop

adopt a cop

Show your support for NOPD by donating to the 2016 Adopt A Cop program! NOPD officers work extremely demanding twelve hour shifts during the parade season with little or no breaks. For as little as $10, you can sponsor an officer's breakfast, lunch, snack and beverage while they work the parade routes. All law enforcement agencies that work the parade routes with the NOPD also benefit from the program.

The minimum recommended donation is $10. Businesses or individuals who donate $250 or more will be recognized as Adopt A Cop program sponsors on our website.

Your donation will provide healthy meals and snacks on the NOPD Food Truck that goes along the parade routes before the parades and on the buses that transport the police from one parade point to the next. Thank you for your time and consideration in supporting the NOPD!

Donate to SafeCam Adopt-A-Block

SafeCam Adopt-A-Block is a new initiative that aims to increase the number of private security cameras in crime hot spots in New Orleans. Your donation will help us provide high-quality security cameras to residents. All cameras will be registered with SafeCam NOLA so that NOPD can quickly contact residents to request camera footage while investigating a crime.

To donate to the program, please use the donate button below. If you would like to restrict your donation to a specific NOPD district, indicate the district in the "special instructions" box when completing your donation. If you would like to make a donation of $500 or more, please contact Nathaniel Weaver at This email address is being protected from spambots.
